I took one of my usual drives up to the weir after work. Walking along the riverbank I noticed the late afternoon sun streaking through the trees above, creating puddles of light. As I wondered through the grass I found my subjects framed almost perfectly against the darkened shade. All I really had to do was compose… then press the shutter.
